Commander John
Storm just wants to be left alone to complete his DNA collection, and
explore the uncharted regions on planet earth. But he always seems to be
in the wrong place at the wrong time.
While a coup is usually a conspiracy of a small group, a revolution or rebellion is usually started spontaneously by larger groups of uncoordinated people. The distinction between a revolution and a coup is not always clear. Sometimes, a coup is
labeled as a revolution by its plotters to feign democratic legitimacy.
There are no such intricacies employed by Red Dragon and the partner
Triads. It is a cold and calculated plan, long in the making, and final
as to the outcome.
THE
NEED FOR REVOLUTIONARY CHANGE
Corruption
is endemic in modern society that allows leaders to lie to their
citizens during elections and when voted into power. There is little
difference in dictatorships, save they lie using propaganda and shoot
any dissidents or imprison them. Or otherwise discredit political
opponents in the free world, using illegal means, frame ups, and so on.
The ancient Greeks saw revolution as a possibility only after the decay of the fundamental moral and religious tenets of society. Plato believed that a constant, firmly entrenched code of beliefs could prevent revolution. Aristotle elaborated on this concept, concluding that if a culture’s basic value system is tenuous, the society will be vulnerable to revolution. Any radical alteration in basic values or beliefs provides the ground for a revolutionary upheaval.
The 16th-century Italian writer Niccolň Machiavelli recognized the importance of creating a state that could endure the threat of revolution; but, at the same time, his detailed analysis of power led to a new belief in the necessity of changes in the structure of government on certain occasions. This new acceptance of change placed Machiavelli at the forefront of modern revolutionary thought, even though he never used the word revolution in his texts, and he was primarily concerned with the creation of a truly stable state.
The 17th-century English writer John Milton was an early believer in revolution’s inherent ability to help a society realize its potential. He also saw revolution as the right of society to defend itself against abusive tyrants, creating a new order that reflected the needs of the people. To Milton, revolution was the means of accomplishing freedom.
In the mid-20th century, American historian Crane Brinton analyzed the tendencies of a society prior to a major revolution. He saw a
pre-revolutionary society as having a combination of social and political tensions, caused by a gradual breakdown of the society’s values. This leads to a fracture of political authority, as the governing body must rely upon an increasingly desperate use of force to remain in power. Commensurate with this is the emergence of reform elements that serve to emphasize the corruption of the political authority.
coup d’état, the sudden, violent overthrow of an existing government by a small group. The chief prerequisite for a coup is control of all or part of the armed forces, the police, and other military elements. Unlike a revolution, which is usually achieved by large numbers of people working for basic social, economic, and political change, a coup is a change in power from the top that merely results in the abrupt replacement of leading government personnel. A coup rarely alters a nation’s fundamental social and economic policies, nor does it significantly redistribute power among competing political groups.
Though, in the case of OPERATION GRAND SLAM, the mission is to wipe
clean the political slate and start afresh. Since, it proved impossible
to compete with politicians, when they were allowed by law to deceive
the electorate, exaggerate and falsify evidence. Such as Tony
Blair, when plotting with President of the USA, George
Walker Bush, who tried to boost research into a hydrogen economy,
but failed, so, as it appears, illegally invaded Iraq, mainly to procure
the oil to prop up the US economy, and fire a warning shot across the
boughs of other Middle Eastern states. Should they not play ball.
Among the earliest modern coups were those in which Napoleon Bonaparte overthrew the Directory on November 9, 1799 (18 Brumaire), and in which Louis Napoleon dissolved the assembly of France’s Second Republic in 1851.
Napoleon Bonaparte was one of the most successful generals of the French revolutionary armies. He was emperor of France from 1804-14, and in 1815.
Napoleon Bonaparte (1768-1821) is regarded as one of history’s greatest military leaders. Born on 15 August 1769, Napoleon was educated at military school in France. He then joined the army where, following the outbreak of the French Revolution, he rapidly rose through the ranks.
By 1796 he was commander of the French army and, in an attempt to disrupt British trade routes with India, he conquered Ottoman-ruled Egypt in 1798, despite the fact the British destroyed the fleet from which he had just landed his forces, in the action called the Battle of the
Nile.
Returning to France a heroic leader in 1799, Napoleon became the country’s ‘first consul’, going on to become Emperor in 1804.
TERRITORIAL DISPUTES AND ARMED CONFLICTS
A 2017 study found that autocratic leaders whose states were involved in international rivalries over disputed territory were more likely to be overthrown in a coup. The authors of the study provide the following logic for why this is:
Autocratic incumbents invested in spatial rivalries need to strengthen the military in order to compete with a foreign adversary. The imperative of developing a strong army puts dictators in a paradoxical situation: to compete with a rival state, they must empower the very
agency - the military - that is most likely to threaten their own survival in office.
However, two 2016 studies found that leaders who were involved in militarized confrontations and conflicts were less likely to face a coup.
A 2019 study found that states that had recently signed civil war peace agreements were much more likely to experience coups, in particular when those agreements contained provisions that jeopardized the interests of the military.
A 2018 study found that "oil price shocks are seen to promote coups in onshore-intensive oil countries, while preventing them in offshore-intensive oil countries". The study argues that states which have onshore oil wealth tend to build up their military to protect the oil, whereas states do not do that for offshore oil wealth.
COUP PROOFING
In what is referred to as "coup-proofing", regimes create structures that make it hard for any small group to seize power. These coup-proofing strategies may include the strategic placing of family, ethnic, and religious groups in the military; creation of an armed force parallel to the regular military; and development of multiple internal security agencies with overlapping jurisdiction that constantly monitor one another. It may also involve frequent salary hikes and promotions for members of the military, and the deliberate use of diverse bureaucrats. Research shows that some coup-proofing strategies reduce the risk of coups occurring. However, coup-proofing reduces military effectiveness, and limits the rents that an incumbent can extract. One reason why authoritarian governments tend to have incompetent militaries is that authoritarian regimes fear that their military will stage a coup or allow a domestic uprising to proceed uninterrupted – as a consequence, authoritarian rulers have incentives to place incompetent loyalists in key positions in the military.
INTERNATIONAL REACTION
The international community tends to react adversely to coups by reducing aid and imposing sanctions. A 2015 study finds that "coups against democracies, coups after the
Cold
War, and coups in states heavily integrated into the international community are all more likely to elicit global reaction." Another 2015 study shows that coups are the strongest predictor for the imposition of democratic sanctions. A third 2015 study finds that Western states react strongest against coups of possible democratic and human rights abuses. A 2016 study shows that the international donor community in the post-Cold War period penalizes coups by reducing foreign aid. The US has been inconsistent in applying aid sanctions against coups both during the Cold War and post-Cold War periods, a likely consequence of its geopolitical interests.
Organizations such as the African Union (AU) and the Organization of American States (OAS) have adopted anti-coup frameworks. Through the threat of sanctions, the organizations actively try to curb coups. A 2016 study finds that the AU has played a meaningful role in reducing African coups.
A 2017 study found that negative international responses, especially from powerful actors, have a significant effect in shortening the duration of regimes created in coups.
According to a 2020 study, coups increase the cost of borrowing and increase the likelihood of sovereign default. Though borrowing increases burdens on the state and population, who then have to work harder to pay off debts. Hence, borrowing is counter productive, except for banks who live off the sweat and on the backs of productive workers.
RECENT COUPS
Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed Bin Salman, deposed Muhammad bin Nayef during the Saudi royal coup on 21 June 2017.
Prime Minister and Chairman of the State Administration Council, Min Aung Hlaing, deposed Aung San Suu Kyi during the Myanmar coup d'état on 2 February 2021.
RED
DRAGON
Red
Dragon is the code name for the headquarters of a Triad cell of a well
organized international revolution based on an interntional military coup d'état that covers the geographical regions of Africa, Asia, Middle East and
Russia. The unit is led by General Reza Shar a former officer in the
Iranian Army, alongside his co-conspirators Giovanni Romano and Chuck
Kowalski.
The
Triads are well funded with a fortune in gold bullion stashed at
strategic location. They also have a veritable arsenal of
high tech weapons. Including a number of fighter jets, an aircraft
carrier and a submarine or
two. But they won't be needed until after the the nuclear holocaust.
The
Triad cells are committed to 'Operation Grand Slam: Phoenix.' A two
stage mission:
(Stage 1), as the kidnap
and nuclear holocaust, "Grand Slam" followed by;
(Stage 2),
rising from the ashes like a "Phoenix" to begin their administration
and capture planet from any remaining military resistance.
Any
vessel with a nuclear weapon onboard will be destroyed by their own
warheads. Warships of all nations will be targeted for elimination.
The
Triads are all extremists fed
up with watching their peers only scratching the surface, frightened of
the corrupt capitalist West, and capitalist communist China and Russia,
pursuing their own agendas contrary to his religious beliefs.
The
plan is to capture nuclear world leaders as hostages as part of a mission to destroy all life on planet
earth, to enable their loyal followers to stage a Phoenix like comeback from the ashes,
so leapfrogging and accelerating the inevitable conflict resulting from the
proliferation of nuclear weapons.
Over
a number of years General Reza Shar has identified the need for 3 operational
centers, and created three Cells that are independent, should any of the
other Cells be discovered. These are:
-
"Red Dragon" - A Cell operating in
Africa, the Middle East & Asia targeting the CRINKs
(China, Russia, Iran & North Korean) marks
-
"Golden Cage" - Refers to a
Cell operating in Europe, to target French, German and UK targets, with
transits
-
"Midnight Sun" - A cell to abduct
American and Canadian targets, with capacity to coordinate transport
Red
Dragon's plan, 'Operation Grand Slam: Phoenix,' will destroy all civilization,
history and heritage from thousands of years of human endeavor. Something
that suits, to obliterate all evidence of the Christian and other opposing
faiths. The Triads want to rule the world their way, sustainably, and to rewrite
history they way they want to see it written. With the Triads as the savior of the
world, free of religious fanatics, communistic dictators and greedy
capitalist bankers operating on unsupported
currencies.
Working
with other like minded cells, the extremists kidnap Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong
Un and the Grand Ayatollah, Ali Khamenei, targeting only those nations with nuclear capability. Holding them hostage, until
their evil plan comes to fruition.
